佛教：世界上主要宗教之一，相传为公园前6-前5世纪古印度的迦毗罗卫国（今尼泊尔境内）王子释迦牟尼所创，广泛流传于亚洲的许多国家。西汉末年传入我国。

Buddhism; one of the principal religions of the world that is popular in Asian countries, said to be founded by Sakyamuni, prince of the ancient Indian state of Kopilavastu (in present-day Nepal), during the 6th-5th century B.C. Buddhism was first introduced to China towards the end of the Western Han Dynasty.
