On behalf of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, let me begin by extending our warm congratulations to all the winners. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to the British Chamber of Commerce in China for your hard work.

英国商业大奖创设12年来，见证了中英贸易投资合作的非凡成就，彰显了两国企业家拓思立新、攻坚克难的宝贵精神。
In the past 12 years since its launch, the British Business Awards has witnessed the remarkable achievements of China-UK cooperation in trade and investment. It has become a symbol of the pioneering spirit and relentless efforts of the entrepreneurs of both our two countries.

“中国在英投资者奖”作为专设奖项，在鼓励和推动中国企业赴英投资兴业方面发挥了积极作用。我谨对今年入围决赛的中国企业表示祝贺。
The special Chinese Investor in the UK Award has played a positive role in encouraging Chinese investment to the UK.

截至2019年底，中国对英直接投资存量达171.4亿美元，过去10年增长了约20倍。英国已成为中国企业投资欧洲的第二大目的地。
By the end of 2019, direct Chinese investment to the UK reached 17.14 billion US dollars, increasing about twenty times in ten years. The UK has become the second largest destination for Chinese investment in Europe.

当前，全球百年变局与世纪疫情相互交织，人类正面临前所未有的挑战。
Today, the world is experiencing the most profound changes in a century, which are intertwined with the raging pandemic. Mankind is facing unprecedented challenges.

我衷心希望，中英两国企业携手合作、共克时艰，共同书写更多中英合作共赢的精彩篇章！最后，预祝此次活动圆满成功。
