A: Yesterday I have briefed you on our principled position. China maintains that all hot-spot issues must be politically resolved. China calls for an early settlement of the crisis and restoration of normal and lawful order to Yemen following the UN Security Council resolutions and GCC initiatives.
中国政府高度重视也非常关心在也门中国公民和机构的安危，将根据也门形势发展和需要，及时采取行动，确保中方有关人员安全。
The Chinese government gives top priority to the security of Chinese citizens and institutions in Yemen. We will take prompt actions to ensure the security of relevant Chinese personnel in light of the development of situation in Yemen.

A: On your first question, to my knowledge, Vice President Li Yuanchao will attend the funeral of former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on behalf of China. The official information will be released soon.
关于第二个问题，本周末将在瑞士洛桑举行伊核问题全面协议谈判，中方对此非常重视。我们认为，伊朗核问题有关谈判已到了关键突破口。各方应坚定政治意愿，继续相向而行，尽早作出政治决定。中方希望六国与伊朗尽早谈判达成伊核问题全面协议政治谅解或框架协议。王毅外长曾经将有关伊核问题的谈判比作一场马拉松比赛，现在已经到了这场马拉松的“最后一公里”。中方将一如既往与各方共同努力，共同跑完这“最后一公里”。至于中方谁将参加本周末在瑞士举行的会议，我们会适时发布消息。
On your second question, the negotiation on a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland this coming weekend. The Chinese side attaches great importance to it. We believe that relevant negotiation has come to a critical point where breakthroughs are expected to be made. All parties should keep forging ahead toward the shared goal with a firm political will and make political decisions at an early date. The Chinese side hopes that the P5+1 and Iran will soon reach a political understanding on a comprehensive agreement or a framework agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue through negotiation. Foreign Minister Wang Yi once compared the negotiation to a marathon. He said that we are one mile away from the finishing line. The Chinese side will work in concert with all parties as it always does to complete the running. As for who will the Chinese side send to attend the talks in Switzerland, we will release the information in due course.
问：中方对韩国决定申请加入亚投行有何评论？
Q: What is China’s comment on ROK’s decision of applying for the membership of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)?
答：3月27日，韩国正式宣布申请作为意向创始成员国加入亚洲基础设施投资银行，并已向中方提交了书面确认函。中方欢迎韩方的决定。作为亚投行意向创始成员国首席谈判代表会议的主席，中方正根据多边程序征求现有意向创始成员国的意见。如顺利通过，韩国将于4月11日正式成为亚投行意向创始成员国。
A: The ROK officially announced its application for the prospective founding membership of the AIIB and filed a confirmation letter to China on March 27. The Chinese side welcomes the decision by the ROK. As the chairman of the chief negotiators’ meeting on the establishment of the AIIB, China is soliciting opinions from the prospective members in accordance with multilateral procedures. If everything goes well, the ROK will become an official prospective founding member of the AIIB on April 11.
