Since it was published in 2009, Zhu Rongji Meets the Press (Chinese Edition) has been widely acclaimed by readers. In 2011, Zhu Rongji Meets the Press (English Edition) was issued overseas by Oxford University Press, which has drawn new attention from Chinese readers.

To meet the expectation of Chinese readers, People's Publishing House, after the negotiation with Oxford University Press, decides to specifically publish Zhu Rongji Meets the Press (same English Edition as that by Oxford) in the mainland of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
