1979年3月1日，中国对外翻译出版公司创刊《翻译通讯》（双月刊），1980年正式公开出版，成为当时国内惟一的译学专刊。中国翻译工作者协会（现中国翻译协会）1982年成立后，该刊转为译协的会刊，1986年改为名为《中国翻译》。目前，主编为黄友义，副主编为杨平。《中国翻译》是我国译界学术水平最高、最具权威性的期刊。本刊宗旨是：反映国内、国际翻译学术界前沿发展水平与走向，开展译学理论研究，交流翻译经验，评介翻译作品，传播译事知识，促进外语教学，介绍新、老翻译工作者，报道国内外译界思潮和动态，繁荣翻译事业。报道国内外译界思潮和动态。《中国翻译》是大专院校外语师生、翻译工作者和翻译爱好者交流译学研究和翻译实践经验的窗口，进行学术争鸣的园地。

 Information about Chinese Translators Journal (CTJ)

Chinese Translators Journal (Bimonthly) is a learned publication of the Translators Association of China. It aims at promoting theoretical study of translation, exchange of translation experience and foreign language teaching. It publishes commentaries on translated works, profiles of veteran and new translators and reports on worldwide new trends and ideas in translation.

Manuscript Forum: In accordance with the CTJ style sheet.

Manuscript Evaluation: All contributions will be first reviewed by the Editorial Department members and then anonymously by referees for its suitability for publication in the CTJ. Care should be taken by authors to avoid identifying themselves on the first page, in the top or bottom margins, or in footnotes. A separate cover page with the title of the article, the name of the author and his /her institutional affiliation should be provided.Time from submission to decision is normally within 90 days.
