The Chinese spirit is the national spirit centered on patriotism and the spirit ofthe times centered on reform and innovation. Chinadoes not take patriotism to mean narrow nationalism; it requires its patriots to be internationally oriented and inclusive. The spirit of the times centered on reform and innovation strongly motivates the Chinese nation to realize the Chinese Dream.
